Our initial entry into the construction world consisted of building, repairing and retrofitting offshore marine related vessels. Our reputation in the marine industry is unmatched. We are proud to say every project ComFact has aided was completed on time and within budget. Presently we take an active management position in several marine repair yards along the east coast of the United States and our offshore interest continues to grow with every project.
We entered the US construction market in 1999 when we were asked to build an upgrade on a cement facility for Leigh Cement of Union Bridge, Maryland. This was a joint venture with Cianbro Corporation, a US general contractor. This project was finished on time and within budget despite being six months behind when ComFact joined the project.
Today ComFact Corporation is providing companies in Canada, the United States and around the world with innovative and flexible solutions to their labour force needs.
